A UNIQUE PRODUCT

IN TWO DIFFERENT THICKNESSES

The result of the latest technology. KERLITE is produced in the 300x100 cm format with a thickness of 3,5 mm and 5,5 mm, using a porcelain mixture composed of top quality raw materials. It is pressed at a force of 15,000 tons. Firing takes place in innovative and ecological kilns that are the result of the research and know-how of Panariagroup. 

FEATURES

Thanks to a high-tech production system, Kerlite has characteristics which confirm the technical and aesthetic excellence of Cotto d'Este materials: Kerlite is perfectly flat, lightweight and easy to work with and install, resistant to impacts and acids, the surface does not absorb and it is easy to clean. It is hygienic, ecologically friendly and antimicrobial.

PRODUCTION

Kerlite ultra-thin ceramic porcelain has been created thanks to a complete reinterpretation of the production process which has led to the development of completely innovative machines. Made with the purest raw materials and pressed at a force of 15,000 tons on a conveyor belt. Firing takes place in innovative and environmentally friendly kilns. The result of Panariagroup know how, the Kerlite production plant operates with a drastic reduction in dust, noise and emission levels with almost complete automation, and a high quality work environment.

VERSATILITY AND

EASE OF INSTALLATION.

 

RENOVATIONS WITHOUT DEMOLITION.

Kerlite is extremely lightweight, easy to cut and install. The material can be easily cut, shaped and drilled with automatic machines and tools for glass and porcelain stoneware. The edges can be processed by hand using diamond sponges or sandpaper. Thanks to these characteristics, the application possibilities of Kerlite are endless: from coating interior furnishings, to the creation of original architectural solutions. 

The reduced thickness of Kerlite has another great advantage: it allows installation directly over old floors and walls. No discomfort caused by demolition and considerable cost savings. No demolition also means no waste generated at the expense of the planet.

 

SIZES

The Kerlite slabs obtained from the production process have nominal dimensions of 1000x3000mm, a large size which is innovative and exclusive in the ceramic sector and which has given rise to prestigious architectural creations. The advantages acquired from installation of such a large product are many, chief among them is the minimisation of the use of joints, resulting in more hygienic and easy to clean surfaces.

The range of available sizes includes: 100x100 cm, 50x50 cm, 50x150 cm, 50x100 cm, 40x100 cm, and all the "plank" sizes with varying dimensions included in the "woods in Kerlite" Forest and Oaks series, such as 33x300 cm and 20x180 cm.

CERTIFICATIONS
